Google Form copy

Make your own copy of the ready-made product form, so you never build one from scratch.

Every product starts as a row submitted through a Google Form. You do not build that form. You make your own copy of a ready-made one, keep its questions as they are, and link it to your spreadsheet in the next lesson.

The copy link for the form is in the Skool group, or on your members page on the guided route. Make sure you are signed in to your Workspace account first, so the copy lands in your own Drive.

A note on the video. The video also shows links for other product forms. Ignore those and use only the Digital Products form copy link.

Steps

  1. Open the form copy link from the Skool group or your members page while signed in to your Workspace account.
  2. Make your copy. Google creates your own version straight away. If your browser asks, choose Make a copy.
  3. Move it into place. In Drive, move the new form into Automate Etsy / Forms.
  4. Rename it if you like, at the top left of the form. Leave the questions alone.

Do not change the questions

The form has six questions, and the automations read them by name:

  • Product SKU
  • Product Name
  • Product Type
  • Qty Included / Number of Designs
  • Product Overview Image
  • Any Product Comments

Do not rename, reorder or delete them. Product Type is a drop-down, and the choices it offers are the ones the system understands.

Quick check

  • You copied the form into your own Drive.
  • It sits in Automate Etsy / Forms.
  • All six questions are untouched.

Next: connect the form to your Google Sheet.
