Google Drive structure
Build the folder tree in Google Drive that every form, file and image in the automation connects back to.
Everything you build in this course, from the form to the product files to the listing images, connects back to one folder tree in your Google Drive. Think of it as your workbench. Set it up exactly as shown, because the automations look for these folder names.
The video was recorded before one change. Where it mentions an older Data folder, use Collections / Digital Products instead, as the steps below do.
Steps
- Open Google Drive and sign in with your Workspace account.
- Find or create the main folder. Look for a folder named Automate Etsy. If it is not there, click New, then Folder, type Automate Etsy and click Create.
- Open Automate Etsy. You may already see a Forms folder. Keep it.
- Add a folder called Collections, and inside it a folder called Digital Products. This is where the data for your digital product automations lives.
- Add a folder called Products. This is where the digital files your customers download after purchase are kept.
- Add two more folders: Images for your Etsy listing images, and Docs for templates, PDFs and bonus files you share.
- Go one level deeper inside Products. Create a folder named after your Etsy shop, for example YourShopName. This keeps shop-specific files together when the automations run.
- Add the subfolders. Inside Docs create Templates, for PDFs, worksheets and other shareable files. Inside Images create Listings, for the product images you will upload to Etsy.

Keep in mind
- Keep every folder under the one master folder, Automate Etsy.
- Folder names matter. Use these exact names.
- A tidy structure now prevents broken links in Make later.
Next: copy the Google Form.
